01Overview
Good Omen Trading LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates two products: Good Omen (the automated execution platform) and Good Omen Tools (tools.goodomentrading.com). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect across both products, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
02Information We Collect
Good Omen Tools — information you provide
- Email address (via Clerk authentication or Google OAuth)
- Pine Script or backtest data submitted for analysis — transmitted to Anthropic for processing, not stored by us
Good Omen Tools — information we store
- Analysis results (grades, findings, recommendations) scoped to your account
- A fingerprint of submitted Pine Scripts (SHA-256 hash and character count) — used to detect script changes across sessions. The script itself is not retained.
- Edge pack purchase records (quantity, date, expiry)
- Stripe payment metadata (we do not store card numbers — Stripe handles payment processing)
Good Omen — information you provide
- Name or handle
- Email address
- Discord username (optional)
- Trading preferences and configuration
Good Omen — information collected automatically
- Broker OAuth token (used to execute trades on your behalf)
- Trade execution data (fills, orders, P&L)
- System logs for debugging and reliability
Information we do not collect
- Broker passwords or API keys
- Card numbers or payment details (handled by Stripe)
- Any PII beyond what is required to operate the Services
03How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
- Deliver analysis results and store your history (Good Omen Tools)
- Track and apply Edge pack balances and expiry (Good Omen Tools)
- Process payments via Stripe (Good Omen Tools)
- Execute trades on your connected brokerage account as authorized (Good Omen)
- Send operational and transactional emails (purchase confirmations, low Edge warnings)
- Diagnose issues and improve the Services
04Data Storage
Good Omen Tools
Account data and analysis history are stored in Cloudflare KV (United States). Authentication is handled by Clerk. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Email delivery is handled by Resend.
Good Omen
Trading data is stored on Railway using PostgreSQL (United States). We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls.
05Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our products. Each has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.
- Clerk — authentication and account management (Good Omen and Good Omen Tools)
- Stripe — payment processing (Good Omen and Good Omen Tools)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare — Workers and KV storage (Good Omen Tools)
- Railway — cloud hosting and database (Good Omen)
- Alpaca Markets — brokerage API (Good Omen). Users may connect their Alpaca paper or live account via OAuth authorization. Your OAuth token is used to execute trades and access account data on your behalf. Alpaca’s privacy policy governs their handling of your brokerage data.
- TradeStation — brokerage API (Good Omen). Currently used for the operator trading account. TradeStation’s privacy policy governs their handling of brokerage data.
- Anthropic — AI processing (Good Omen and Good Omen Tools). Good Omen uses Anthropic’s API to generate daily trading recaps, weekly performance summaries, and morning briefs describing system activity. Good Omen Tools transmits submitted content (Pine Script or backtest data) to Anthropic for analysis. In both cases, content is processed by Anthropic’s API and is not retained by Good Omen Trading LLC after processing. We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic. Anthropic’s usage policies govern how content is handled on their end.
06Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy (third-party service providers necessary to operate the Services) or as required by law.
07Data Retention
Good Omen Tools: analysis history is retained until you delete it or close your account. Edge pack purchase records are retained for 12 months from purchase date.
Good Omen: trading data is retained for as long as your account is active.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

- Request access to the data we hold about you

- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Revoke Google OAuth authorization via your Google account settings
- Revoke broker OAuth authorization via your broker’s connected apps settings (Good Omen)

09Cookies and Tracking
Good Omen Tools uses browser localStorage to store your session preferences (such as active tab state). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising technologies. Clerk may use cookies for authentication session management.
10Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email where possible. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
