01Overview

Good Omen Trading LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Good Omen, an automated trade execution tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

• Name or handle
• Email address
• Discord username (optional)
• Trading preferences and configuration

Information collected automatically

• Broker OAuth token (used to execute trades on your behalf)
• Trade execution data (fills, orders, P&L)
• System logs for debugging and reliability

Information we do not collect

• Broker passwords or API keys
• Card numbers or payment details (handled by Stripe)
• Any PII beyond what is required to operate the Services

03How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account and maintain your session
• Process subscription payments via Stripe (when subscriptions become available)
• Execute trades on your connected brokerage account as authorized
• Send operational and transactional emails (account notifications during beta; purchase confirmations and billing notifications when subscriptions become available)
• Diagnose issues and improve the Services

04Data Storage

Trading data and account data are stored on Railway using PostgreSQL (United States). Authentication is handled by Clerk. Payment processing will be handled by Stripe when subscriptions become available. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls.

05Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Services. Each has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

• Clerk: authentication and account management
• Stripe: payment processing (used when subscriptions become available; not active during beta)
• Railway: cloud hosting and managed PostgreSQL.
• Brokerage providers: When you connect a brokerage account, your OAuth token is used to communicate with that broker’s API on your behalf. Your broker’s own privacy policy governs their handling of your brokerage data. See goodomentrading.com for the current list of supported broker integrations.
• Anthropic. AI model used to generate automated performance commentary (daily and weekly recaps). Only non-personally-identifiable performance data (such as ticker symbols, fill prices, and realized P&L) is transmitted. No user account identifiers, names, email addresses, or broker account numbers are sent.
• Vercel: static site hosting and anonymous visitor analytics. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights collect aggregated, cookieless usage data (page views, performance timing, country-level location) to help us understand site traffic and improve the experience. No personally identifiable information is collected by Vercel analytics.
• Resend: transactional email delivery for waitlist confirmations and beta onboarding. Receives email address only.
• Discord: operational notifications. Receives the user-supplied Discord username (if provided).
• Google: OAuth sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Google via Clerk, Google receives the authentication request and returns a verified email and basic profile information. Good Omen does not access any Google account data beyond what is required to authenticate you.

06Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy (third-party service providers necessary to operate the Services) or as required by law.

07Data Retention

Trading data is retained for as long as your account is active.

If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Revoke Google OAuth authorization via your Google account settings
• Revoke broker OAuth authorization via your broker’s connected apps settings

09Cookies and Tracking

We do not use advertising technologies, ad-targeting cookies, or cross-site tracking. Clerk may use cookies for authentication session management. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which collect aggregated, cookieless usage data (page views, performance timing, country-level location) to help us improve the site. No personally identifiable information is collected by Vercel analytics.

10Eligibility and Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for adults 18 years of age or older, consistent with the age requirements of our connected brokerages. The Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us at privacy@goodomentrading.com and we will delete it.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email where possible. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
